Definition: the belief that if you cut off one end of a blanket and sew it onto the other end, you get a longer blanket.

I found Ghirardelli peppermint bark candies at the grocery store this morning.  Christmas goodies are the only things that console me for cold weather - although I'd happily give up the goodies in exchange for a nice, hot day.

Apparently the peppermint bark made me lose my mind, because when I got home I realized that I'd totally missed the produce section.  So who needs vegetables anyway, huh?
